Before this day ends you will be put on trial. It will not be a trial in a courtroom presided over by a judge. This trial will take place in the courtroom of life and will be presided over by the future. You may have a tendency to look over your shoulder and trust in your past accomplishments to defend you. I can assure you that would be a big mistake! It may work for awhile but like all other made with human accomplishments it will not last.
Five or six years ago the church building I attended nearly all my life was struck by lightning and with hours was a pile of burnt, twisted rubble. The next day as I stood in front of what was once a “firm foundation” for me deep in my spirit I felt God saying, “See I told you to trust only me.”
Trust wholeheartedly in Yahweh, put no faith in your own perception; acknowledge him in every course you take, and he will see that your paths are smooth.

In the courtroom of life do not be a fool and defend yourself, put your life in hands of Jesus the Greatest Defender of all times and trust in him.
“Jesus I am unable to adequately defend myself against those who would darken my future. Please come to my defense.”
Victory awaits those whose trust is in Jesus.
