Not a suit jacket, a corduroy blazer. Though I have been known to wear spots coats and even suit jackets with jeans on occasion. Tweed in particular or a black three button goes nice with a roll neck.

Nothing Fancy, really... Just a new Denomination called Mankyism.

The Main Ritual is pretty much Eating Haggis, Drinking Ale, and Farting while wearing kilts...

It seems interesting...

I might convert...

As long as I get to wear underwear underneath my kilt. But from what I've heard, I might have to go to a more Liberal congregation to do that...

Like I said,

I've heard the Liberal Congregations are a bit more flexible in that regard...

By coincidence, I read this article earlier today... http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/usscotfax/bkg/kilt.html
". . . And what's the answer to the question that so intrigued the ladies of 1815 in the cartoon above* and continues to exercise a fascination today? What does a Scotsman wear under his kilt? . . . when you consider that Scotland can sometimes be a cold and windy place, and is also home to midges (http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/usfeatures/midges/index.html) and ticks, (http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/usscotfax/bkg/ticks.html) considerations of comfort and practicality suggest that underwear is often a good idea, and black briefs are the usual option. . . .."

Oh, and if you'd like to see JardinPrayer (!!) live(ish) on video, I taped a video announcement for a class I'll be teaching at my church. It was run during service today, so if you go to our media page, you can see it (and as much of our service as you care to).

To get right to the good stuff - moi - go to this link (http://www.nlcf.org/media/#), then select the "Live Video" option. A new box should pop up and the video should begin immediately with our praise & worship. Use the slider under the video window and place it just between the rewind and fast forward buttons, a little closer to the rewind.

If you see a pastor with a funny southern accent cutting up a little, you're almost there. If you see little video clips about upcoming events, you're in the right place. Rather than trying to find my announcement that way, I suggest sitting through a few of them...there aren't more than 6 I think. Before me are Paul Wilbur talking about our Messianic First Fridays (called "L'Chaim"), then a cool black woman in baseball gear talking about another event, then me.

The full story behind this picture is up at my blog: I've seen a scientist! (http://duoquartuncia.blogspot.com/2008/04/ive-seen-scientist.html).

Picture shows me with my youngest niece (who has shown up in several images here) discussing the control in an experiment involving pins and balloons...

The experiment session was precipitated by a discussion between me and de niece:

De niece: I've seen a scientist!
De uncle: Where was this?
De niece: We saw a scientist at preschool.
De uncle: Oh... what did he look like?
De niece: Not "he". "She".

You go girl...

For be it from me to conclude that fashion and antiquity can ne'er coincide.

But I actually got it for reasons threefold:

I'm in a play (Measure for Measure) and my character is a friar.
It's AWESOME!
And it was suggested by a girl.

One of these pictures is new, one of these is not! One of these is after two days of hunting for a restaurant, and one of these is not. One of these is my favorite, one of these is my other favorite.

Wow, you two look great together! May God bless you two forever.

Did you accidentally superglue your heads together? Seems like you are both stuck at the temples in every photo I see of you.

:hehe:
