All right, let me lay it on the line. I'm PO'd that my candidate last time (LGM) failed to win. So I'm pulling out all the stops for this one and if I win I'm giving LGM up to half of my kingdom, as an ANE despot would put it. (OK, I'll at least dedicate the win to him. So there.)

Vote for me and get:

* Your own custom toon avatar.
* Your choice of one page of original art from any of my comics.
* A background character named after you in one of the upcoming Hearthstone toons (Shrike Team #3 or 4, Range Patrol #4 or 5).
* 5 pearls (I was gonna try to get 1000 to see what happened when you hit 4 digits, but since my car's odometer is about to hit 100,000 I'll get a thrill out of that instead).
* Autographed copy of The Mormon Defenders. I'll mail it with the original art page you choose. Media mail. Nyuk nyuk.

Seriously. You can have all of this for a measly vote.

Also, if you don't vote for me so I win, I swear I'll make it so that on both my sites, there will be background music consisting of nothing but Weird Al Yankovic's "Party at the Leper Colony" over and over and over and over and over and over again. For WEEKS.

I would have voted for you anyway JP. Although I have not posted much here, I have been very familiar with Tektonics. Your site was actually a God-send as I was mislead in my Christian walk by the infamous Christian Origins (http://home.earthlink.net/~pgwhacker/ChristianOrigins/) site. I will always be grateful for you revealing the site for the misleading joke that it is, and helping me become more solid in my faith as a whole. You are more than deserving of every vote you receive.

Wellll....normally either Precog or Molinist could help me with that sort of thing, but they both took jobs as beach lifeguards for the summer.

Which leads to some instructions on how to procure your loot (if you want it).


* Your own custom toon avatar. You need to send me a PM telling me what you want (a Hearthstone character? Something brand new?) and what it should be doing (smiling? stickin' tongue out? etc.)
* Your choice of one page of original art from any of my comics. You need to tell me which one in the same PM (eg, "rangtoon2005"). I'll need an address to mail it to (or, if you think you may meet me in person someday, like at that conference, you can get it there).
* A background character named after you in one of the upcoming Hearthstone toons (Shrike Team #3 or 4, Range Patrol #4 or 5). I'll do this automatically unless you tell me otherwise, and I'll use either your screen name here or your real first name if you use it here.
* 5 pearls -- I'll do this automatically. If I miss you let me know.

Folks are contacting me various ways to indicate a claim on the perks (email, PMs, even comments on the nomination screen, which I didn't know were there until 5 minutes ago!). I'm trying to collate all of these requests....it's not hard, just time-consuming.

I have a lot of background characters coming in Shrike Team #3. Look for your name (unless you tell me not to use it) to be attached to one of the following:


*Tilkrig maglev engineers
*a family of Chet'lyn
*historical background characters from the book Brom is reading
*folks on the street in Monitaw (Felicity's hometown)

Any that don't get in here will get into RP #4 or ST #4 as needed.

I already have a speaking engagement at my home church Wednesday and at least one (maybe two) radio interviews next weekend (one in LA, one MAYBE in Dublin, Ireland -- both would require me to be up until 3 AM here). An extra day or so may be all I need. No worries.
