Just a quick thought came to mind and I'm looking for some feedback.
One of the reasons for rejecting evolution within Christendom seems to be the notion that God would not use such an odd/crude mechanism to create. I pondered this and the cross came to my mind. We essentially believe that the God of all that exists - universe/multiverse - sent His Son via the incarnation to live a sinless life culminating in brutal suffering and death upon a cross - which became the mechanism of salvation for all that believe. Is this not likewise an odd/crude mechanism?
Thoughts?
