Below is an exerpt from a thread on Rapture Watch
OK, this says that Pentecost is on a FULL moon, not a NEW moon:
Sunday
June 4th, 2006
Pentecost is from Shabbat June 3rd, 2006 at twilight through Sunday June 4th at twilight.
Pentecost begins an Appointed Seven Day Feast period that ends in the light of a Full Moon on June 10th, 2006
Nasty guy that I am I warned the author that her plans would fail and she would need to change here dates. I was banned that day. This day , 6/6/06 I found this posted by the same author on the same thread;
What a mysterious day Pentecost is. So many calendars, so many interpretations. I had no idea how many there were.
The orthodox Pentecost is next Sunday, the 11th (which also ties in with the calendars that base it on when the full moon is)....since the full moon is either Sunday or Monday. And Monday is also called orthodox Pentecost Monday. So, even though Jews and Christians celebrate on June 3 and the 4th, the orthodox dates are June 11 and 12th to align with the full moon, since this feast is supposed to end in fullness of the light. Oh and btw, June 11/12 is Sivan 15, which this the date that represents "deliverance." So cool!
Brings an old Pete Seger song to mind...
