View Full Version : We Need Jesus

Our lives are filled with adversities, with burdens, with conflict.
We need Jesus as our shepherd.

We journey through desert places. Stand on the banks of raging rivers.
We need Jesus as our shepherd.

Our spirits are broken. We walk in the midst evil forces seeking our souls.
We need Jesus as our shepherd.

Each and every day we walk within the grasp of death. Fear is our relentless companion.
We need Jesus as our shepherd.

Each and every day we are ambushed by our enemies. We grow tired and weary.
We need Jesus as our shepherd.

Anger and prejudice pursue us each and every day. We are spiritually homeless.
We need Jesus as our shepherd.

The only thing greater then our need for Jesus…Is his ability to meet our needs!

Jesus doesn’t have a better way…Jesus is a better way!

:thumb: :thumb: PIPER! Absolutly Awesome! Here's a little something along the same lines. it's called PRISONERS OF HOPE.

Only we have the understanding:
That this world is temporal,
the unseen is eternal, everything that this world considers valuable is vanity.
Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.
That there is nothing inside ourselves,
that we could save ourselves.
Only we know that the things of the world
will never fill our longings & desires.
We have tried the things of the world.
We have tried to fill out hearts with worldly pleasures
and possessions & passions.
Only we know that they are in vain. This is understanding.
The Lord has opened our eyes.
He has given us this understanding.
He has revealed His truth to us.
He has revealed Himself,
His purpose,
His will.
Allowed us to taste the things of the world for a season,
and know that they are evil & vain,
and only lead to destruction.
Hope deffered maketh the heart sick.
We know who is the future.
We know the things that please Him.
We know Jesus.
We know how to find Him. That is wisdom.
We know where this hope lies. But when desire cometh,
it is a Tree of Life.
We know the future, what will fade away,
And what will remain.
What wll be judged, & what will be rewarded.
What will burn, & what will be made new.
What will be cast into Hell, & what will live forever
in His Glory.
Our hope is in a Savior who has revealed Himself to us,
that has shown Himself strong on our behalf.
A teacher that has shown us wisdom,
the wisdom that is truest,
the wisdom that is above all.
Only we know what the beginning of wisdom is.
Our hope is in Jesus. We know that he is the only True Hope.
There is none else that will stand, that will remain,
that will be fufilled.
We are prisoners of hope. We are prisoners of
the God of Hope.
We have no one else to trust for the salvation of our souls.
No on else to rely upon in that great day.
That hope is deep within our hearts,
so strong is that hope, nothing will shake it, destroy it, turn it,
or spoil it.
When chaos has fallen around, the world is a shamble,
the hope that has been welded into our hearts remains
firm & sure like the Rock He is.
That hope reminds us, that in this life, & all that happens,
is part of His plan, His will, & purpose for us,
His children, His saints, His elect.
I have made thee & formed thee.
It reminds us who is in control.
We know that all things work together for our good.
We are prisoners of Hope.
Prisoners of a God who will avenge us,
and reward us for our fathfulness.
A God that will fufill each of His promises to us.
A King that has placed His right hand upon us.
A Father that loves us more than we can comprehend.
A Savior that died for us.
Our Lord that will return for us.
We are prisoners of Hope.
We are prisoners of Jesus.

God Bless!
