And God said, “If you live according to my laws, if you keep my commandments and put them into practice, I shall give you the rain you need at the right time; the soil will yield its produce and the trees of the countryside their fruit; you will thresh until vintage time and gather grapes until sowing time. You will eat your fill of bread and live secure in your land.” [Leviticus 26:3 - 26:5]
You may not be a farmer depending on rain but you need the life giving / sustaining power of Jesus Christ.
You may not be a Gardner depending on the proper soil conditions for perfect roses but the soil of your life needs the conditioning power of the Holy Spirit.
You may not have large orchards of fruit and depend on luscious fruit but you need the fruit of God’s Spirit to enjoy his blessing available to you.
What are God’s commandments you need to put into practice? Jesus said to him, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: You must love your neighbor as yourself.” [Matthew 22:37 - 22:39]
