My Testimpony
Although I did grow up in a very broken home full of neglect and more than one kind of abuse I had heard about God and jesus from my Christian Aunt and Uncle, so when I was adopted by my Christian Family and they introduced Jesus to me I wasn't totally lost. I was nine but it wasn't til I was 13 when I got saved at a Christian Camp. My spiritual walk has always had its ups and downs but the lowest point came when I decided that I was tired of being single and waiting on a Christian man so I decided to do things my own way and I went with the wrong crowd. This lasted about 4 years and in that 4 years I was a victim of date rape and drunk at the time and got pregnant as a result of that and decided to give my first son up for adoption. After that instead of turning backk towardsthe Lord I drifted even farther from him meanwhile back in Indiana my family was always praying for my return to the Lord. After I got pregnant with my second son I was going to have an abortion but the day before I had the appointment I got a mysterious call at my job from a lady I never met who told me she knew what I was about to do and that I needed to save my child. Well since I don't believe in supernatural coincidences I knew God was using this woman and God was speaking directly to me and not onlky did I decide to go to a Crisis Pregnancy Center instead ofthe abortion clinic I decided to turn my life around and ask for his forgivness live for him again. I ended up movning back to the midwest and been here for the last 5 years now and I strive for my son to grow up in a Godly enviornment. he has grandparents and uncles who love the Lord! Anyway thats what my spiritual life has been like for the 17 years I have been saved!
Me The Lord of the Rings Geek
Im new to tweb I thought Id give you guys an idea of who I am!
Im a Christian single mother (as a result of a period of turning my back on God and sinful living)I been saved since I was 13 I am 31 now. I am a sci fi loving Lord of the Rings geek. I am totally obsessed with Tolkein and LOTR! Right down to wanting a LOTR theme wedding and a honeymoon in New Zealand (If I was rich enough lol) I have a friend who goesto all kinds of LOTR convnetions and I hope to savce enough money to be able to go next summer to one in Chicago since thats sort of close to where I live. It be really neat to go with a bunch of other geks and get all dressed up. I do have an arwen and galdriel costumes and Im looking for an Eowyn one and I have a Frodo Costume that I wore to the midnight premier of ROTK and to the LOTR Motion Picture Exhabition last New Years. My friend went to A LOTR convention and gave "Gimli" John Rhyes Davies a track. Id love to meet Elijiah Wood andthe other Hobbits and give them LOTR Tracks you never know they could read them and ask Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour! That be neat. Id love to memorize all the LOTR movies and make up a one woman audience partcipation lotr show and use that as a ministry by placing lotr tracks in everyones seat!!! That be soo much fun. It also be fun to film a LOTR or Star Wars fanfilm if I knew how to make one! Well now you know what I like for entertainment!!!
