I was invited here by Mr. Holding to have discussions with him regarding various aspects of his apologetics.

Should I be gagged or banned from further posting you may rest assured that Mr. Holding is losing the debate.

In his e-mails to me he claimed that I sent two e-mails at once and this was against his "rules"...laughter...therefore he blocked any further e-mail.

He was losing the argument.

It is my contention that Mr. Holding has no peer, standing or recognition outside of the Fundamental community and in effect he is preaching to the choir, and the choir certainly will not disagree with him.

He specifically stated that he was inviting me here to "show you up" amongst his contemporaries.

I contend that he is a coward with no redeeming debating skills and will quickly gag or ban my posts.

What {Tim} said. FYI, we have a privacy policy that prohibits the use of users real names, if they request that that information be kept private. Notice that the only thing edited was the name.

TheologyWeb respects the privacy of its board members, if they do not wish to be addressed or referenced to by their real names, then moderators will not allow it.

Lots of people who have been arguing furiously against Holding for years have been posting here without threat of ban as long as they follow the rules. They wouldn't be here if TheologyWeb just wanted to silence dissent.

However, a handfull of people seem to come here to debate Holding solely for the purpose of proving that they know his real name. They post his real name, breaking the privacy rule. They get probation or banned and they complain that they are being "silenced." I hope that you won't be one of those people. It's just not as fun as the people who stick to debating issues.

owlafaye JPH does not have the ability to gag you here or to bar your postings. He does, however, like nearly everyone else here, have the ability to poke fun so long as he remains within "campus decorum" ... meaning mostly posting without swearing or blaspheming. The harshest word use here is "crap".
