Huh, I'm not sure either but here is a test:

Just right now, pinch the nearest person to you. If they yell then that may indicate you are awake. After all why pinch yourself, it hurts.
If this person is of the female persuasion, she may slap you. That itself may be the final test. Either she will slap you and you feel pain, which means that you are possibly awake, or she may slap you and you wake up. If you wake up that only proves that TWeb is a virtual world. Then again she may just slap you silly...or sensible.
Caution: If you are in Kung-Fu class I would think twice about pinching someone

I have had dreams like that a couple of times in my life. In my dream I woke up from a dream.
