i often save good apologetic posts, articles, and emails to my computer for future reference. however, these notes are tricky to work with, as i don't always know what file has what argument(s). also a good percent of the time i refer to books i have, and it can be even harder to find what you need in an format where you can't hit ctrl-f and type in a keyword. so i decided i am going to take a lot of the info i have and formulate a reference system that is easier to use (a digital notebook, if you will). and, after reading up on XML (both its strengths and weaknesses), i've decided it would be a good format to use. especially since i get to learn how to do it (that is half the fun)
wish me luck

actually, i have entertained the thought of publishing it online, when (if) i get enough material to make it worthwhile. i'm going to add a "keywords" field, just so i don't have to worry about it if it goes online.
mmm PHP. from what i have read/heard, that'd be an interesting language to learn.

PHP is probably my favorite language... for an example of the power of PHP, please visit: www.theologyweb.com... oh wait, you're there... nevermind ;)
Good luck either way, Sheepdog!
