As announced in the previous thread, TheologyWeb will be closed for 24 hours in memory of Bandecoot. The funeral is supposed to occur on December 1st at 4pm Brisbane time. Therefore, we will be closing TheologyWeb on Friday December 1st at 1:00AM US Eastern time. (which, according to my world clock, is the same time the funeral will begin)

Also, if you haven't already, please check out the Condolences thread (http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/showthread.php?t=87711) and make a comment. Sylas will be producing a "nice printoff" and comments made before Weds afternoon (US time) will make it in. Even if you don't make it in, still leave comments for his family as I understand there might be an appendix as well.

If you are interested in helping provide for flowers, please see the flowers thread (http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/showthread.php?t=87749). Due to the time zone differences, time is of the essence, so if you'd like to contribute to the fund you must pledge how much you intend to give to DDW. Sylas has graciously offered to help arrange for the flowers and bring them to the funeral.

I also would like to say how proud I am of the TWeb family. You guys have really stepped out there in your grief to help eachother, and ultimately help the family. We all will miss our friend Bandecoot and I am amazed at how all your positive memories and notes will bless the family. Let's take Friday as a day to further remember our friend and start to have some closure for our grief.

God bless you all.

Also I understand that the Friday Paltalk will be dedicated to Bandecoot. If you are a Paltalk regular, or even if you're not, that might be something you will want to check out. But get the channel details now since TWeb will be closed at that point.

(if someone would write all the details for the Paltalk remembrance, I will post it with the forum closure notice.)

Here (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?month=12&day=1&year=2006&hour=16&min=0&sec=0&p1=47) is a listing of what time the funeral will begin and TWeb will close for all the world timezones if you would like to mark it in your calendar. I do believe any DST differences in the world are automatically adjusted for.

It won't be necessary - Pal-talk will likely be closed by the time of the closure.

Perhaps an inclusion about Pal-talk being at its regular time on Saturday? (Assuming we do.)

The funeral is 1AM Friday morning... which means it will be closed ALL DAY Friday.

(Remember Australia is ahead of us in time, way ahead. When the funeral begins in midday Australia, Friday will just be beginning for the US)

Okay, it's opening at 7:00 EST (Spiny said 7:30 but I usually open on Fridays so what does he know?) and the memorial portion will begin at 8:00 EST. Runs until whenever really, but let's say 11:00 EST.

So, Pal-talk will open at 7:00 EST (6:00 CST), the memorial will begin at 8:00 EST (7:00 CST) and will run until 11:00 EST (10:00 CST) on Friday, December 1st.

That's when the forum re-opens, then, right?

Find your timezone. That's when the forum closes.

Add 24 hours, that's when the forum opens again.

Spiny knows what time Pal Talk opens.

He said 7:30 because not everyone is there waiting at the door at 7. But 8 works too.

I would like to encourage everyone, that, everytime you start to log onto TWeb during the down time and recall that it's closed, use that as a reminder to think of Bandecoot and say a prayer for his friends and family.
