Admit it, liberals, you want to elimination of Israel and I bet that you are actually hoping that the Hitler of Iran develops his nuclear weapons and uses them to destroy Israel. In your flawed thinking, you think that the result will be peace. Morons. You are so wrong to think that radical Islam will stop with Israel. These 7th century throwbacks want the world to convert to their religion and will next move to take over Europe and then the USA. Wake up!

Don't you just love it when someone you've never met before tells you what you secretly "really want"?

You know, if you replaced "elimination of Israel" with "dinner" and "the Hitler of Iran develops his nuclear weapons and uses them to destroy Israel" with "there will be fried onions and mushrooms for the hamburgers me and some buds are having for dinner tonight", you'd be right. That is what I want.

However, I am not a liberal. I am Conservative. That just might be the reason why I prefer hamburgers to Holocausts. :ahem:

Hey decoski, do you remember that tiny emaciated lingering little shred of credibility you had?

I'm not really liberal, more of an anarchist, but I think if Israel gets nuked they have only themselves to blame.

I doubt any liberals want the destruction of Israel. Do we wish that 'we' hadn't been so stupid as to give Israel land in a place that was inevitably going to cause much conflict? I do. It was a stupid idea and "Well we used to live here 2500 years ago" is hardly much of a reason. People groups move around, its called history.

The current situation is no-win. I don't think saying "I wish we'd not made this problem in the first place" is a particularly stupid thing to say. The Jews needed protection but giving them a land where they were surrounded by ancient enemies and so they then needed to also be given lots of guns in order to be a little safe... It does look like a pretty dumb move don't you think?

I wish Israel had never be given the land that they were and I'm not convinced that it was really our land to give them. Because of our actions we now have strife and so showing regret and doing what we can to alleviate that is, I think, the correct thing to do.

Decoski,

Why are you posting flamebait?

One can just as easily claim that "Conservatives Secrety (or not so secretely) Hope for the Elimination of Arabs!"

Personally, I think we should cut our support of both Israel and Palestine. Both sides have backstabbed us and murdered our men plenty of times. We ought to heed Washington's advice concerning "entangling alliances".

Let's see....the President in office in 48 who recognized Israel immediately and gave them support was Truman, a liberal Democrat.
JFK and LBJ were both supporters of Israel and they were liberal Democrats.
Carter, a Democrat, brokered a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.

Of course, if you mean mindlessly supporting Israel with money and weapons and ignoring the legitimate concerns of the Arab neighbors, then you have to look to Republicans, especially those who think Israel is some sort of fulfillment of a 19th century theological construct.

Whenever I see posts like this, I have to wonder exactly which pundit pulled what string to provoke it. Was it the fear string? Was the terror alert raised from Burnt Sienna to Magenta? Was the "liberals" love of terrorists a main focus of O'Reilly's Talking Points?

You are equating Great Americans like Truman, JFK, and LBJ with today's liberals.
They must be spinning in their graves.

Today's disgusting liberals are the spoiled hippies who shouted "Hey hey LBJ, how many kids have you killed today"

For once, you're somewhat correct.

Yesterday's liberals are the same big-government republicans of today - wolves in sheep's clothing, as pat buchanan calls them - who control and have caused the GOP to abandon it's princicples turning it into the worthless party it has become today.

If you think LBJ was a Great American, you really need to rethink.
True, he did push thru quite a bit of the civil rights agenda which liberals had been trying to pass for 20 years, but his lies, manipulations and the unnecessary deaths of so many in Vietnam far outweigh the good he did.

"And it's one two three, what are fighting for, don't ask me I don't give a dxxx, next stop is Vietnam, and it's five six seven open up the pearly gates. wellllll, there ain't no time to wonder why Whoopee, we're all gonna die."

And I doubt that Dr King, a strong opponent of the war, and a staunch LIBERAL, would be counted as a spoiled hippie.
In fact, the opposition to Vietnam was led for the most part by liberal politicians of both parties. Sen. Morse, R-OR was one of two votes against the Gulf of Tonkin resolution, in Aug 64, based on an event which was imaginary.

While I very much appreciate the effect that Dr King's ministry has had on our nation - and our world at large - he wasn't just a liberal. He was quite simply a communist. Maybe not a hippie, but he would have made a lot of them look like conservatives.
