Congratulations to GrapeJilly for winning this month's alumnus nomination by a landslide!

Now, as in our yearly tradition, we will vote for the Alumnus of the Year. Who's it going to be? You decide (http://www.theologyweb.com/campus/alumnus.php?)!

GrapeJilly
Tickle Me Johnny
DaBootsanegga
Theonomy

It's recently been brought to my attention that my status as a TWeb jerk is in peril. Moving quickly to rectify this situation, I offer the following totally unnecessary but gratifyingly irritating grammatical criticism.

Alumna -- female singular
Alumnae -- female plural
Alumnus -- male singular
Alumni -- male plural (or mixed group)

I have no idea how fish and rodentia of indeterminate gender should be handled. Not that any of this really matters. After all, with T***t in the race, we already know the election will be rigged.

Congratulations Jilly. Phew, that was close. Despite my extended efforts to ensure you won, the mad folks here just kept voting for me. Forunately I had a big bag of unused votes which T***t had given to me to help rigg his campaigns earlier in the year and I was able to have them appropriated to you. Sadly, I may not be able to be of much assistance in the AotY campaign as ... there has just been a knock at the door.

(sounds of screaming and general mayhem)

[just post what I say and you will not be electrocuted, again...]

"Vote for Trout in the forthcoming AotY election. Trout is kind and generous."

It's amazing to me this didn't come out to be a tie. It was down to the wire.

I blame Theonomy. He distracted many voters away from the very real issues at stake in this campaign.
