View Full Version : Big Avatar Requests Here:

I know Sparko doesn't want his repository to become a bunch of people asking for avatars, but rather a place for people to show off avatars they've already made. And I have an avatar request of my own, so figured I'd make a new thread where people without the l337 skillz of Tweb's Photoshop masters can make avatar requests. Whether they'll be heeded . . . well, we throw ourselves on the mercy of the Photoshop Powers that Be.

My request is for the following image to be cropped a bit at the top and bottom so that it is properly proportioned for our avatar displays. As is, it's too skinny and leaves some blue on each side. I will give pearls as thanks.

Never mind the pearls, I like having an excuse to practice. I'm a photoshop tyro, but I can handle this kind of work.

On behalf of Telleriab2, I have a new request. Can someone please crop this image so that it's the right proportions for an avatar(without sacrificing any of Arsenium's head -- I don't think she'd appreciate that)? She'd ask herself, but her PC wouldn't let her download the pic I'm attaching here from its website for some reason.

I just found out if the image is less than 200kb it tweb will let you upload it as your avatar regardless of the dimmesions.

Yes, I know. But see your avatar? See how there extra space on the sides because your picture isn't in 9:16 dimensions? That's what I'm attempting to avoid here. I'm hoping someone can take the picture and crop the edges a bit so that when it resizes it fits the entire 120 pixel by 213 pixel avatar space.

Here ya go.

I thank you very much, ShadowLands!

If you are wondering why I still do not have the avatar up, it is because my laptop claims the that file is invalid.

I gotta check this out...

Can someone make me a video avatar like mine except I'd like it to be the Smallville opening with that meteor coming and hitting the SMALLVILLE title?

Nicky, do you still have that clip of Chloe with the rolling pin that someone could make into an av for me?

It's my joyful smiley, Justin! I swiped it from Trouty, who first used it to celebrate his new little grandbaby. And he swiped it from somebody else.

I like it!

Bad news Mossy. The video's been removed due to some violation. If someone can make it from part of the episode, it's Season 5, Episode 16, Hypnotic. My guess would be part 4 of the episode also.

I have a picture that was drawn for me, and wondered if there is someone who could size it for me to use as an avatar.

Please let me know and I will post it.

Thanks!

Nick, is that meteor image on the DVD you're going to send me? If so, I can make it for you.

It's at the start of every episode. (Show gives an opening event and then goes into the theme.)

It is the character of the mother in the game that my son is making. Her name is Marcie, and aside from her being WAY more gorgeous than I am, she is based on me.

But I don't wear a hat in the kitchen.....

:hehe:

Drawn by a friend of MelMak's, a highly talented young lady, indeed!

Yep, and my favourite colour dress, even though MelMak planned blue.

The artist took some license, and it turned out fine!

Wow, Marcie really looks good in your profile, Mom! I'm glad you like it; my artist friend is glad too. :) (She took some creative liberty with mine too. ^_^ )

I think I want the game. Marcie and Melody are both in it?.....

mossrose
February 19th 2007, 12:12 AM
Yes. But, they don't look like our avatars, in the game.........yet......and it's still a work in progress......

You can have a look at it from the link in Melmak's sig line.

I suppose this is the place where I make a plea for help. I'd like to have the attached pic for my avatar but it don't fit! I've tried resizing it myself but ...well, let's just say, apparently I don't know how.

I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out here. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what way you want to go here--distort or crop out part of the image. Here's a cropped version.

Would someone make this little gal look like she's been to a New Year's Eve party and size her for an avatar, please? :happymoss: Thanks! :flowers:49814

When someone has time, I would like to have a rainbow avatar. The background should be a cloudy sky over a sea or lake in a desert setting, like the Dead Sea or the Mediterranean Sea. No evidence of humans. Animals in the wild OK though optional. Can be a photograph. Should look realistic but the colors in the rainbow should be vivid. Either end or both ends of the rainbow can be shown. Part or all of the rainbow can be shown.
