I want to take this oppurtunity to publically express something to you Dee Dee. I was sent several private e-mails asking why i attack theology web. I explained, in private, that i go after certain views, not the oppurtunity to express them. Allow me to express this truth; i have done this on many websites, NONE of them have displayed the openess avalibility of the owner to be patient with others views, the consideration and respect that you have, very unique in my experience. You do not push away those you disagree with, nor disrespect them. That is a quality that is not provided by satan, only God can give that. I see no onelse online like this that i have encountered. Because of you, theology web is set apart from the others. I rail against christianity, but am not blind to Godliness in whom ever it exist, in whatever mannerism it comes out. You have never mistreated me, and you have cause. In my view, that is an example of real christianity.

I considered sending this in private, but others opinon gave me cause to do it this way. The example is clear, you are motivated by selfless concerned, clearly a leadership not motivated by those who seek to limit the view of others. As time goes on, if you maintain this course, you will find the spiritual value of this place increase, as will the criticism. Because of this truth, i will not ever mention theology web in my dissagrement again. I ask your forgiveness if i have caused personal discomfort in you. Your righteousness has turned my anger to what it should be against. Where i see a personal gripe on the bus to the individual rider not the bus itself.

We have some great changes upcoming for you guys, that will once again keep our place as the most innovative theology site on the Net, so please, if you live here, and you can, consider becoming a subscriber. It is only $5 a month, and greatly appreciated. A lot goes into keeping a forum like this up and running both in time (you don't even want to know the amount of time that three owners spend on the site on a daily basis) and money, and any assistance is a blessing.

Luv there are several things that can be done. A money order for one year's subscription can be mailed - or you can use PayPal to send funds out of a bank account.

Nsm I am not sure on that

Dee Dee does that have to be set up somehow with a bank before you can use it or can I use it without having to set something up?
and like 5 of your dollars is about 8-9 of ours. so I wouldn't be doing a full year at once...sorry

Luv, you go to PayPal and set it up there. I have used PayPal for many years and never had any problem at all. Boom and I use it to exchange funds using our bank accounts. You set up a PayPal account with your bank information. You can then send money to anyone with an email address. They do not even need to have a Paypal account. So if you set up a paypal account, we could not do an automatic thing like the subscription but you could paypal whatever you would like to contribute, remember Luv, any amount is gratefully received, to an email addy I would give you and we would put it into the TheologyWeb accoutn.

uhh Dee Dee I was going to sign up but I just checked up on them and I am not sure at all about using that system
maybe if I could set up an account especially for paypal purposes that I could transfer only the amount required or something :shrug I might look at that option
maybe Im not very trusting but I would prefer to be safe than sorry

Luv, let me add my recommendation to the list. PayPal is a reputable, dependable method for transferring funds online. The vast majority of ebay-ers use it. I know many people who use it and no one (including me) has ever had any difficulty. I know they have had some bad press, and for that reason I hesitated myself, but I'm glad I took the plunge...it has made online business transactions infitinitely easier.

One thing I did do as a precaution, though, which you may want to consider: I opened a separate checking acccount that is not tied to my other accounts, just for PayPal transactions. This way, if something goes wrong, it's only a little money at stake, not everything I have.
