The Zion, City of God Graduate School of Spiritual Medicine
Today you will discover three great truths.
You will discover that your knowledge of life is has not prepared you for the school of hard knocks. You will discover that your knowledge of Jesus Christ is insufficient for your journey through life. You will discover that you need to go back to school.
When you have grasped these three truths head straight for The Zion, City of God Graduate School of Spiritual Medicine. As you walk in you will notice that there are holes in the walls with the paint peeling the ceiling tiles are falling the carpet is stained, dirty, and has holes in it. Then you will wonder what such an ugly room is doing in such a beautiful building.
A voice breaks the silence, “The classroom you are in represents your life. The bare walls you see through the peeling paint represent the wounds you have received. The worn and torn carpeting represents the number of times your spirit has been beaten down by uncontrollable circumstances. The fallen ceiling tiles represents those time when you reached for eternity and fallen short.”
Suddenly a large mural appears on the wall in front of you. On it you can see Jesus nailed to a cross in the background there are storms. The mural looks so real you can actually hear the thunder and feel the rain and the wind in your face. The caption at the bottom reads, “I tell you this in the world you will have trials and tribulations, I also tell you that in me you may have peace. In the world you will face oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
The mural disappears and standing in front of you is a winged creature. “Are you an angel,” you hear your own voice ask?
“I am the Teacher sent to you by the School Master to teach you of Jesus the source of life. I am the Athletic Trainer sent by Master Trainer to strengthen you and get you in shape for the riggers of life. I am your Defender sent to you by Jesus to defend you against the powers of darkness. I am the Holy Spirit sent to you to usher you into eternity by the Creator himself. I await your invitation.”
“Come Holy Spirit, come,” your voice rings out. Instantly the winged creature disappears. Instantly the room you are in is transformed into the most beautiful room you have ever been in. The carpet glows is as if made of strands of gold. The ceiling tiles are so white they give off light. The walls are painted with soft neutral colors and radiate an unseen power. In the middle of the room you see a barrel marked “deposit burdens here.” As you drop your burdens in it the room suddenly disappears and you find yourself again standing in the street. In you hand is a diploma “Graduate with Honors from The Zion, City of God The Zion, City of God Graduate School of Spiritual Medicine.”
And your life will never be the same.
