I wasn't trying to mislead in my title but it's hard to make a title regarding this subject without adding "copycat", I couldn't resist. Apparently this company, who was trying to clone domestic cats for people, folded at the end of last year due to lack of demand (not ability to clone, as my title may suggest).

Any mouthbreather could have told them that it was a bad idea to begin with. What may have turned out good for their pocketbooks if Americans would have been willing to shuck out $32,000 to have a favorite beloved pet cat cloned so that we never have to truly say goodbye, would have been bad for society anyways. It's not like we don't already have a cat overpopulation problem already.
But we can rest assured that won't be happening anymore. The billionaire, John Sperling who founded the company, is now working on cloning livestock for your consumption.
