It belongs to one of my neighbours since my mom said she's seen it in the building hallway before. I let it come into the house (i don't know what it wants to do here, it just runs circles from in here outside) for a while but now I had to block the entrances because I'm going to school. Is it ok to let it in once in a while, or will it start thinking it owns the place?

Thinking it owns the place?

It's a cat. A cat knows it owns the planet.

You let it in?

It already owns the place.

I agree, it already thinks it owns that place and every other place. The only question in the cat's mind is how to get you -- the usurper -- to let it in on command. The less access you give it, the less persistently it will try.

Next time, let it into your house, thinking it owns it, and then lock it in your closet until it dies.

Jilly hates animals. It's one of the reasons why I said no when she proposed to me.

Leave a bowl of the old kind of antifreeze just outside your slider.

It'll just make you a stop on its route unless it's really being neglected in which case it'll be yours whether you want it or not.

When I was younger and living with my parents, we got our last cat in exactly this way. The neighbors loved the cat, but just weren't pet-skilled or attentive enough to deal with a rather fiesty cat. The cat started just stopping by to say "hi" at first, then we were feeding her, then we were taking her to the vet. Finally, she was our cat. To their credit, the neighbors never objected or complained; I think they realized they were not doing a good job at it and were thankful that we adopted her without a fuss.

We already knew the identity of the Sith Apprentice, Darth Executor.
This newest revelation has given us the identity of his master, the Sith Lord - the Cat!

:hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi: Darth E.!!! eh hem...

Cats most certainly do think they own every place they visit, as well as the world. You're probably going to have a new friend. My family has a cat that keeps showing up from someone else's house outside, and because they feed every other cat there, this new cat thinks she belongs here..Only problem is she's a spoiled-anti-social-definitely-inside-cat, so the other cats all hate her, and she thinks she can come inside and live here. Cats can get delluded, heh.

Yay, Darth made a friend!!! :hehe:

Agent Executor has been disconnected from the Matrix for some time, so I was unable to monitor him as I focused on more important, erm... targets...
