SAN FRANCISCO -- Craig Newmark has set up a webcam on his rear deck to snoop on his neighbors -- and it's open to anyone on the internet.

But fear not; Newmark's no peeping tom. The webcam is a remote-controlled bird-watching cam, and it can be manipulated by thousands of virtual bird watchers simultaneously.

I come from a family of bird watchers. We have feeders out and we get the most wonderful little birds ever... cardinals, finches, you name it. :teeth: I like the idea of a bird-watching camera! Canadian Tire (home appliance/tool store) currently has a REALLY cool pair of binoculars on sale. They amplify up to 8X and they take video! I'd love to get some for this purpose. :yes:
