I have a Squamous Cell Carcinoma that has survived 2 attempts by dermatological PAs to destroy it. I have a followup appointment with a Physician's Assistant today, but really need a referral to the real dermatologist, which I will request that the PA make. The only one of three PAs that has done me lasting good is the first, who established the diagnosis by means of a biopsy that she sent to a medical lab.
This has been going on for way too long because of my almost senile inattentiveness ― that combined with a dermatological practice that uses too many PAs to lighten the load on the real dermatologist ― so long, and I have just now become alarmed by the status of the cancer and the possibility that it may now have become too entrenched to be permanently destroyed.
