The Bible is filled with stories of people overcoming get odds because of courage.
There’s Moses who against tremendous odds obtained freedom for the Israelites.
There’s Gideon who with 300 men defeated an army of over 20,000.
There’s Elijah who stood against kings and queens.
There’s Nehemiah who rebuilt Jerusalem.
There’s Jesus walking toward certain death.
There’s Peter who stepped out of the boat.
There’s Stephen stoned for his belief in Jesus.
And then there’s you as you’ve courageously stood against forces seeking to devalue your life.
"A man's courage can sustain his broken body, but when courage dies, what hope is left?"
[Proverbs 18:14]
Courage is faith in action! Faith: Mental acceptance of the truth or actuality of something…Absolute certainty in the trustworthiness of another. Courage: The quality of mind enabling one to face danger or hardship resolutely.
The key to success in life isn’t social status, financial resources, a professional career, or sophisticated possessions success is the use of courage in the face of defeat!
Remember…Courage is not the absence of fear…Courage is the presence of Jesus Christ!
