Mystery of God #34,631,915…

"The Lord kills, The Lord gives life. Some he causes to be poor and others to be rich. He cuts one down and lifts another up. He lifts the poor from the dust -- Yes, from a pile of ashes -- And treats them as princes sitting in the seats of honor. For all the earth is the Lord's and he has set the world in order. He will protect his godly ones, but the wicked shall be silenced in darkness. No one shall succeed by strength alone. Those who fight against the Lord shall be broken; He thunders against them from heaven. He judges throughout the earth. He gives mighty strength to his King, and gives great glory to his anointed one."
{1st Samuel 2:6 - 2:7 LVB}

Today you’ll be caught up in a mystery that will put your mind to rest on some questions and at the same time raise others. It is a mystery that will divide right from wrong, light from dark, poor from rich, peace from conflict, wholeness from heath, success from failure, life from death. There are those who say, “The mind of God can not be understood so the mystery must always remain. Therefore I accept the mystery and will not trespass upon God’s Ways.”

While God is incomprehensible to our limited understanding it is in seeking to solve the mystery we’ll discover a God with a purpose for our lives. And so long as we continue our search He’ll slowly impart to us His will for our lives. Is it that spirit that caused the finite Psalmist long ago to write of the Infinite Incomprehensible God: "How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words. With all my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments. In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you. Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your will! With my lips I have repeated all the judgments you have given. In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond all wealth. I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths. I find my delight in your will, I do not forget your words." {Psalms 119:9 - 119:16 NJB}

Seek not to solve the mystery of God…Seek only to discover the God of mystery!
