Analysis of Planned Parenthood Report Shows Abortions, No Adoptions

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Further analysis of the new annual report submitted by Planned Parenthood shows why it has earned the dubious distinction of being the nation's largest abortion business. While the report shows it made hundreds of millions of dollars from abortions, it shows no adoption referrals. Planned Parenthood generated $902.8 million in incoming in fiscal year 2005-2006 an increase of 2.4 percent over the previous reporting period. (http://www.lifenews.com/nat3177.html)
Any one else seen this on a different news source?

Is that report a place that you would expect to find information on the number of referrals for adoption?
That was my first thought - I don't know yet but I'll have a look.

I hope the back to back post will be allowed in this case :)
Here's a link to the report itself:

It's hardly an indepth look at their activities and I'm not sure that adoptions would be listed if what they are doing is referring the women that want to give a baby up for adoption to a agency or attorney.

Interesting numbers here (http://www.plannedparenthood.org/about-us/who-we-are/pp-numbers-5551.htm).
Percentage of Planned Parenthood health care clients
who receive services to prevent unintended pregnancy: 81
who receive abortion services: 9So 81% to prevent pregnancy but only 9% receiving abortions.

Jimmy's link is more telling - they specifically mention 'abortions averted' by contraception - wouldn't adoption be a logical accompanying stat? But there's nada.

But as to whether or not it should be in the report I would think so - it's their annual report which should cover all basic services and since it was evidently there in 2004 and 2005 it makes little sense that adoption referrals wouldn't appear in the current report.
The HD's Annual reports would certainly cover any offered service, albeit not in depth. No, it's a strange omission all right.
