Risen is a religious fiction about a Roman Prefect who tells the story. Was given orders to see to the death of Jesus and the others. Gave the order not to brake Jesus' legs but to have a spear thrusted into Jesus' side. Witnessed that Jesus was dead. Was ordered to see to the sealing of Jesus' tomb. And after it was alleged Jesus' body was stolen, was given the order to find the body and those who stole it. In the process looks in the tomb and comes to see a shroud with Jesus' face on it. Meets disciples, Mary Magdalene, Bartholomew by name and later the 11 and meets Jesus alive. And has the opportunity to talk with Jesus. Sees Jesus heal a man, [maybe] a leper. And later sees Jesus' ascension [no angels and no clouds].

It's fiction. What IS from the Bible does not raise any conflicts with Bible belief. It does portray the Crucifixion and Resurrection from the perspective of the Gospel of Matthew, however.
