Some would have us all believe that free markets are undoubtedly the most efficient, optimal means of distributing scarce resources and meeting as many needs as possible of as many people as possible, it seems.
With that background in mind, please consider this question: Where would a system of distributing resources through a lottery (randomly) rank in efficiency?
