I saw a book at the library. Women are from Venus and Men are from Mars. I think the guy who wrote that must have been a little bit crazy. It's more like Men are from Mars and most women are from the Bizarro Planet.

Most women don't make any sense. They pull out all of their eyebrow hairs and draw them back on. They wear clothes that are hard to put on. They buy all sorts of pointy toed shoes and then complain that their feet hurt. Don't they know that they don't have pointy feet?

Women keep telling men that they want us to be honest and they don't mean it. They ask us if we think that that babies are cute. They don't want to know that we think that babies scare us a little bit because we think that we might break them and that they look like people larvae. Or that the things we notice most about babies aren't that they have big eyes or that they have dimples. We notice that they throw up a lot and make lots of noise and that they are always wet or sticky. We like babies because they are our babies, not because they look pretty or smell good because most of the time they do not.

And women always want to know if something they wear makes them look fat. They don't want to know that the real answer is being fat makes you look fat. Or that we don't care if they are a little bit fat or a little bit skinny as long as they are nice to us don't interrupt the football game unless they are bringing us good things to eat. Or that we don't care if they paint their eyelids purple or green or blue. And we don't care if they are wearing a new dress or not. We are looking at them and not at the stupid old dress or makeup.

Women want us to watch stupid movies like love movies. We don't want to watch movies about love. We want the women to love us. We want to watch movies about cowboys and spies and funny things. Those are good movies.

They don't understand that we don't care very much about what kind of perfume they are wearing as long as they don't wear so much that it stinks. They don't know that we want to have fun with them and that they don't have to work so hard to keep us because we wouldn't be hanging around with them if we didn't already like them the way they are.

Women could have one pair of shoes and one set of clothes and wear the same thing every day and we wouldn't care a whole lot. We don't care if other women think they look stylish. We don't care if they aren't the president of some club. We don't care where they move the furniture to. We don't care if they get wrinkles when they get old. We don't care how perfect their fingernails are. All we care about is if they like us. If they do that then unless a guy is a real jerk he will like a nice woman right back no matter what because she is only human just like the rest of us. She doesn't have to be perfect. She just has to be fun and nice and like us.

That is what is important. I don't know why women worry about the other silly stuff so much. It doesn't make any sense. If all we liked was clothes and makeup and things like that we would just go out and buy that stuff. We don't. It's not important. We guys just like women who like us back.
