WHAT IS ULTIMATE SAFETY?:

The propensity for safety and self-sufficiency in the modern western context can be corrosive to ones faith. Ultimately it may be more expedient to seek sufficiency in Christ, and trust only in Him.
(“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." - 2Corinthians 12:9)

LUKE 15:
Evil manners, we say, beget good laws; so, in this chapter, the murmuring of the scribes and Pharisees at the grace of Christ, and the favour he showed to publicans and sinners, gave occasion for a more full discovery of that grace than perhaps otherwise we should have had in these three parables which we have in this chapter, the scope of all of which is the same, to show, not only what God had said and sworn in the Old Testament, that he had no pleasure in the death and ruin of sinn

OPEN THEISM:
Open Theism - Open Theism, also referred to as “free will theism” and “openness theology,” is the belief that God does not exercise meticulous control of the universe but leaves it “open” for humans to make significant free will choices that impact their relationships with God and others. For a short time, around 1910, this idea threatened to achieve almost a canonical status in Protestant theology. But now, we can quite calmly describe it as merely comical."

LUKE 14:
In this chapter we have, I. The cure which our Lord Jesus wrought upon a man that had the dropsy, on the sabbath day, and his justifying himself therein against those who were offended at his doing it on that day (v. 1-6). II. A lesson of humility gives to those who were ambitious of the highest rooms (v. 7–11). III. A lesson of charity to those who feasted the rich, and did not feed the poor (v. 12–14). IV. The success of the gospel not foretold in the parable of the guests invit

LIBERTARIAN FREE WILL:
Libertarian Free Will - (Latin liberum arbitrium) - The belief that the human will is free from any necessitating constraint (necessitas coactio). This is often referred to as “the power of contrary choice.” In this, whatever decisions are made, its alternative decisions are viable options. The alternative to libertarianism is fatalism, divine determinism, or self-determinism. The reformers believed that the faculty of the will is free (vonutas), but this will is in bond
