As I mentioned in the prayer forum, I had a disgustingly horrible day at work. If I don't get fired, I'll get reprimanded. But I suppose this is a great opportunity to thank God. God is good.

Overall, despite my terrible dad and today, my life has been pretty good. Not any real complaints. God has blessed me and mine on a daily basis. And the crown jewel of these blessings is my salvation, and I definitely don't deserve that. God is good.

Even if God doesn't come through for me today, even if He doesn't do a single thing more for me, I would still not have any excuse to lessen my praise. Even if He didn't do a single thing for humanity in our entire history, He would still be worthy of our best. God is good.

But in the mean time, it can be very hard to see that goodness because humans have a tendency to only view the short-term. However, I'll still say God is good.
