Well... the contract my company had ended.. and then it didn't. We were off for a day, but the government didn't handle the ending of the contract properly, so we were back. And will be until the 28th. At that point... who knows... If my company protests the awarding of the contract, we could be around until January 8th. Maybe.

It's not the kind of stability you look for after being out of work for 4 months, and then working for only 6.

It seems I've been in Richmond for a year or more with all that has happened. I'm sure I've aged two or three.

I got a call from a recruiter who wants to put my name in front of a company... in Fort Wayne.. Indiana. And another who wants me to work in DC.

It seems that decisions past, those that may have seemed right are being shown wrong. I just don't know how I could have chosen otherwise.

Life continues. Unfortunately, my family pays the price, as well.
