I figured after 5 1/2 years of not posting to my blog, I ought to post something. It would literally take a book to document all of our life changes.
3 cities, 3 churches and 4 children later, we're going strong, very strong.

it wasn't a cold

Well that headache that I had sure wasn't a cold, but I had it again today. Probably because I broke my coffeine routine.
Anyways, drove our new used van today. It drives well. Only 77,000 miles on it, all highway miles, and it was even purchased in this county. It's a 1979 Ford Econoline 150.
Lots of room for the expanding family. Got it for $200 down from a man in our church.
bye for now

Baby calves.

Well our neighbor came by to show our family their new baby calves. We all loaded into the pickup truck and headed out to the fields. That was fun, especially for the kids. My youngest daughter, who's 2, kept saying "Meow" and I had to keep telling her "Moo".
Sermon went well this morning. I preached on true worship and how it's not limited to Sunday morning for 1 hour but that true worship doesn't really begin until we leave church and head out into the world.
I'd post my sermons here at

Remember the miracle?

Remember the miracle? Well, the first man's wife came by today with more groceries, 3 sacks total. Praise God!
And then, tonight, another gal and her daughter came by with beef stew and bread. Praise God again!
When will it stop? I don't know. I just pray that someday soon I'll be able to bless these folks!

Well, my wife left for Denver today

My mother from Aurora came here to pick her up and take her to Denver for a very important meeting with her doctor. They're going to do an ultrasound and see how things are going. Plus, they're going to try and determine why she is not gaining weight or showing more.
While in Denver, it's a sad coincidence, but she'll be there right on time to see a young man from our church. His name is Slade and he broke his neck yesterday at work when a large iron pipe fell on him from above. 3 verterbrae

Miracle?

I'm going to give this to you chronologically since I don't have any creative writing skills at 1 a.m.
My family hasn't had the best of financial times lately. In fact, this week has been one of the worst. Very little food in the house, been rationing out food all week to see if we'll have enough by the next paycheck, which will be on Sunday.
However, we hadn't told a soul about our food needs.
Yesterday afternoon (Wed.), at about 2:30 p.m., a small car pulls up to the house.
An old

Things are going better this evening

Nothing has changed, but things have gotten better.
My youngest daughter's Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist came by and she's doing alright. She still should know about 40 more words by now, as opposed to the less than 10 she knows. Plus, she should be able to pronounce these words that she does know, but they just come out as gibberish which only my wife and I understand.
Her fine motor skills are getting better, and she's concerned about her own development in that area. For

Life stinks!
|
#1
March 16th 2004 12:21 PM |
So, life stinks sometimes. It smells more rank than the kitchen trash.
My daughter's test are still coming back normal, but she's still having seizures, staring spells and is still falling over when she walks.
My wife's placenta still hasn't moved out of the way so that she can give birth naturally. Looks like a c-section in early June.
The house we're renting in is very affordable because we live in a small community, but we can't buy it because of poor decisions early in our marriage
