just wanted to blog quick to say that I miss my family.
it's still hot here.
I'm still frantically working on school work...I think I've managed to get about 4 weeks of course work done in less than a week (for both classes). and I must say that I've done so successfully becasue I've gotten 100% on both of my first assignments and am waiting ot see what the second assignment grades are.
that's all I have to say right now.

well, I've returned to my home in the sandpit on teh far side of the world. I completely enjoyed my 2 wks R&R with the family. we went to Colonial Williamsburg and the kids all dressed up in colonial clothing and did chores and yes, I got pictures of it.
then we went to Bush Gardens and had a blast there. I wish the boys weren't so scared of the roller coasters. I think if they just tried it once, they'd be hooked and would have a blast. but they wouldn't even try it. but it was stil

....here I am waiting on a flight. only this time, the flight will take me back to work. I've made it as far as Kuwait. I sarted my travel again on 13 August when I left NC, flew to Atlanta, and then flew from Atlanta to Ieland and then Ireland to Kuwait, where I now sit and wait. 
and then I got to thinking. if this had been a regular deployment, instead of the full year, I wouldn't be coming back. my deployment would be over! oh well. 5 more months, then I'll be home fo

...yes, I am still waiting...
....waiting to be home with my family....
....even if it's only for 2 weeks, i am reallt frustrated with my travel thus far....

....I am still waiting for my flight. it's very frs\ustrting. i ddn't pack for an etended delay in TQ. and i hate living out of a bag.

anyone reading this, please pray for good weather and clear skies!
i'm suppose to be starting my travels back to the states for my 2 weeks R&R, but the dust is picking up and I just have a feeling the flights tonight will be canceled.
but just in case, I've turned in my laundry and should be able ot pick it up on my way and pack it in my bag, then I'll sit all night and wait and pray that the flights are not canceled.
