    A Glory Seed Devotional
    Pictures and Images…

The say a picture is worth a thousand words. While that may be true to the person looking at the picture but that is not true for photographer. I have seen thousands of pictures of the moon I even watch live television as Neil Armstrong stepped from the Lunar Lander to the moon. But the moon picture you now see is one of a kind. Not because it’s one you’ve never seen before but because I took it. I got up early this morning set up my tripod and new camera and met a challenge. That may seem trivial to you but not to me. You may have seen better pictures showing more detail but you’ve never seen my picture – at least until now.

Now that I’ve bragged a little (please forgive me for doing so) on with the rest of the story. I wish I could include a mirror in this message because when you looked into it you’d see a one-of-a-kind picture worth the price of God’s Only Begotten Son! Not only that you’d also be seeing someone created in the image and likeness of God! “Then God said, "Let Us make human beings in Our image, to be like Us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground." So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:26-27 NLT)

There are probably thousands of cameras more intricate than mine that take far better pictures than mine. There are probably thousands of photographers better than me (maybe your one of them) but NO ONE and I mean NO ONE will ever come close to our God – NO ONE! Please enjoy yourself that always brings a smile to God’s face and remember to smile because God has his camera ready. And I don’t know about you but I gotta see God’s camera and his photo album of me (but then on second thought maybe don’t want to see his pictures of me.

    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
And so I walk in the LORD's presence as I live here on earth!
