A Glory Seed Devotional
Zion, City of God Jesus Library…
The greatest need in your life now or at any time in the future will be your need for Jesus. Before you venture any, further you owe it to yourself to step into The Zion, City of God Jesus Library where you will be renewed, strengthened, and saved. This will be the strangest library you will ever see. When you first walk through the door, you will immediately find yourself in another time, in another place.
You will first stand next to an angel as a young virgin is told she will have a son. You will feel her doubts and fears and you will feel her muster the courage to say, “Be it done unto me as the Father wishes.” And then tears of joy will run down your cheeks.
Next, you will stand beside a young carpenter as his girlfriend tells him she is with child. You will feel his apprehensions and his fears then suddenly you will be standing next to him as shepherd after shepherd honors his new born son. You will feel his pride. And tears of joy will continue to run down your cheeks.
As you walk from room to room, you will find yourself on a new and exciting adventure in the life of Jesus. You are there when he gives the Sermon on the Mount. You are there when he feeds so many with so little. You are there when he walks on the water. You are there when he quiets the storm. You are there when he heals the sick, casts out demons, and forgives the sinner. With each new adventure, you learn a little more. With each new adventure, Jesus becomes more real than ever before.
Finally you see a sign marked exit pausing before opening you hear sounds coming from inside, sounds that are disturbing. “Crucify him! Crucify him! Crucify him,” voices cry out! Suddenly as the sound of a hammer hitting a nail rings loud and clear the door swings open and a hush falls everywhere and the only sounds to be heard is the distant rumbling of a thunderstorm approaching.
You try not to move but without warning a rushing wind pushes you forward and you find yourself standing in front of a cross with a man hanging on it and a terrible pain puts you on your knees. And mysteriously tears of joy begin streaming down your face.
Deep within you feel a struggle it’s as if someone or something is trying to rip something from your heart. Suddenly the hand becomes cold and icy and the room goes dark and the struggle for life continues. “A tomb,” you cry out, “I am in a tomb!” Then without warning there is an explosion, an explosion of Light and you are standing outside The Zion, City of God Jesus Library and you are immediately greeted by a huge sign that reads, “Welcome to the Resurrection we know you enjoy your eternal stay.”
And echoing across the heavens God’s voice sounds out, “Come enjoy the blessings of my City.”
Grace and PEACE!
Gary
He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling.
And so I walk in the LORD's presence as I live here on earth!
(Psalms 116:8-9 NLT)
