			<description><![CDATA[My girlfriend has had persistent depression for pretty much her whole life, which mostly manifests in feeling guilty all the time for letting people down (even when not appropriate) and not counting her own positive attributes as positive. She has taken prescriptions in the past, but is off of everything now. Strong family history of this sort of thing.

I would, however, like some advice on what I can do to help her cope with life, possibly for the rest of my life. What has worked for those of you living with partners or family with depression? Or if you've had it, what helps you?</div>
