I am not sure exactly what I believe re dualism, however reading the (recycled) blog at DC today I think sometimes people (especially athiests ) are all to quick to conclude that there is no such thing and sometimes the stories they quote in support of their view are not all they seem to be at first glance.

If you believe in the theory of evolution, you should not have any problem with global warning because
1) this has happened before - isn't it that the ice age passed due to global warming
2) global warming can bring good thing - because of global warming human evolve well (i guess)

Yes, global warming is still hard at work for you ladies and gentlemen. October was the 3rd coldest October ever. Yes, the 2nd coldest was 1977 and the coldest was 1925. The temperature was FOUR degrees F below the 20th century average. That is a HUGE amount of cooling. Yet anthropogenic global warming advocates will, of course, ignore this fact. The worst thing we Christians can do is to tie the infallible Word of God to a falsified Scriptural interpretation. Ray "banana man" Comfort has been in the news recently for his plan to distribute 100,000 copies of Darwin's Origin Of Species with a 50 page special "introduction" by Ray himself. As you may guess, the "intro" is an idiotic rant from a scientific ignoramus, and tosses out many of the same old stupid PRATTS (2nd law of thermo, irreducible complexity, etc.) along with some incredibly bad theology.

This essay reports on a series of experiments in which researchers showed how the evolution of new sex chromosomes also drove reproductive isolation. This was achieved by:-
1) Demonstrating that the new sex chromosomes had evolved in large part via chromosome fusion.
2) Determining the factors that maintain reproductive isolation.

Mr Fernandez has been busy undertaking research on mysteries regarding the complexity of the human genome. He and his fellow researchers think they have uncovered a mechanism explaining this complexity, in part at least. At least according to the calculations of the Archbishop James Ussher who in 1658 declared the Earth was created at precisely 9AM on October 23rd, 4004 BC. I wonder if anyone realizes that he calculated the year of creation by starting with the known dates (confirmed through secular science btw) of the reign of the Chaldean king Nebuchadnezzar II and subtracting the life spans of the patriarchs as stated in the Bible?
