    Before leaping into the meat of this post, let's make a few clarifications.

    No. Not every atheist is an internet atheist. I refer to a general type of person by this. If you are on the internet and an atheist and are highly informed and can show it and have done your homework on what you and I both believe, then I do not consider you an internet atheist.

    With my two artificial hips and extremely fragile femurs one of my greatest fears over the winter months is slipping and falling on ice and snow now that there is no more ice and snow I still fear falling in the yard or riding my bike. One of my favorite sayings throughout the year is “Stay Vertical!” In other words don’t fall!

    However, my fear of falling goes beyond physically falling and injuring myself it “falls” into my spiritual life as well.     Quite recently, I have seen several interactions in the internet world with people of different beliefs and each time I have seen statements like "I respect your beliefs" or "Let's all try to respect the beliefs of one another."     Are we prepared for missions service? Let's talk about it on Deeper Waters.

    Let's suppose your church group was wanting to go on a mission trip to a country in Africa. You were told that you are going to an area where Malaria is common. There is a harmless vaccination you can get to inoculate you against the disease that is also inexpensive. Or, you could go and get it and afterwards have a much harder time recovering from the sickness and enjoying all the effects of it.

    Living the Christian Life

    There are times when living the Christian Life doesn’t make any sense to me. Yesterday I quoted, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
