Glory Seed Devotionals, 2016: Year of the Blessing
The LORD is coming!
PEACE be unto you!
The LORD is coming TODAY! Not tomorrow or the next day, or next week, or next month, or next year! Do you believe that? “When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.” (Psalm 91:15, NLT) And in some cases, “I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” (Isaiah 65:24, NLT)
Do you trust in the LORD’s promises? Do you know what it takes to trust in the LORD? Pardon me for being so blunt but to trust in the LORD whom we can’t see or touch takes intestinal fortitude – guts! So muster up some intestinal fortitude because the LORD wants to bless you!
“But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31, NLT)
For me the greatest blessing is to be in the presence of the LORD because when the LORD is with us life looks a whole lot brighter. For example, read the following scripture from Isaiah thinking about your own situation not some faraway place or a time in the distant past. The LORD is blessing you AS YOU READ these words of encouragement. “Even the wilderness and desert will be glad in those days. The wasteland will rejoice and blossom with spring crocuses. Yes, there will be an abundance of flowers and singing and joy! The deserts will become as green as the mountains of Lebanon, as lovely as Mount Carmel or the plain of Sharon. There the LORD will display his glory, the splendor of our God. With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.”” (Isaiah 35:1–4, NLT)
LORD will display his glory, the splendor of our God. With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees.” (Isaiah 35:1–3, NLT)
Believe in presence of the GOD and in the strength of his GRACE!
GRACE and PEACE,
Gary
