  • Obama's a secret Muslim?

If so, I wonder how that belief squares with this...

The United States and Israel have signed a new aid deal that will give the Israeli military $38 billion over the course of 10 years. It’s the largest such agreement the U.S. has ever had with any country.

After months of negotiations, the unprecedented deal was signed at the State Department on Wednesday.

The aid totals $3.8 billion a year - up from $3.1 billion the U.S. gave Israel annually under the current 10-year deal that expires in 2018.

Under the agreement, Israel’s ability to spend part of the funds on Israeli military products will be phased out, eventually requiring all of the funds to be spent on American military industries.

Between this and the fact that he drinks (and brews his own) beer, he would have to be the worst Muslim ever.

How better to hide the fact that he's a Muslim than by not acting like a Muslim! Or... something...

It would happen anyway!! Because Jewish lobby.

                Also, see the article:

After last year’s historic Iran nuclear deal, reports surfaced that President Obama offered Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a new and improved package of military aid. The Israeli leader was among the most vocal critics of the deal.
Obama wanted Iran deal so this new aid is to make Israel less angry!! This is just normal politics and deal.

For somebody who's supposedly not a Muslim, Obama has certainly said a lot of things in support of Islam, including casually claiming it as his religion of choice during an interview before being awkwardly "corrected" by the host.

Other interesting comments, from his book: "I will stand with [Muslims] should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

He described the Muslim call to prayer as "the sweetest sound I know."

In his speech to the UN: "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam."

In a 2015 speech, he falsely claimed that "Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding."

And there are literally dozens of other quotes. He has always spoken of Islam with reverence and respect while he has repeatedly denigrated Christianity.

Maybe he's one of those "moderate Muslims" we keep hearing about.

I never got the two extreme sides to this. The side that believes he is a Muslim and the side that believes he isn't a Muslim, and the rabid insistence of both sides that they're right. I personally don't think Obama is Muslim (if anything, he's most likely an atheist feigning like he's religious), but I certainly don't see how it's an impossibility that he's Muslim and then denying it so as to avoid a political firestorm that would just be distracting to his political agendas. I'm just wondering how the former belief squares with the OP. If Obama is a Muslim, then this would suggest to me that Israel's influence on American politics really is as pervasive as some of the fringe anti-Israel conspiracy theorists claim it is, and Obama reluctantly gave in to this powerful influence? I mean, I don't know, I was just curious how the pro Obama is a Muslim crowd would explain this. Demi seemed to agree, which shows how powerful and influential the "Jewish lobby" is on American politics. The problem for many Obama is a Muslim people is that this is what the anti-Israel crowd (the crowd that is typically dubbed antisemitic) argues.

I too think Obama is a secret atheist pretending to be Christian for political gain. He seems too smart to me to actually think Christianity is true. That being said, the fact that Obama has been so totally pro-Israel (including recently approving 38 billion to Israel in military aid) shows that he's not a Muslim, as this would make little sense if he was. That's the whole point really.

You can believe all those things and still not be a Muslim. He's an accommodationist when it comes to Islam, trying to bridge a gap between the West and Islam in hopes that we can foster better relationships.

I don't think that Obama's a Muslim, but being Muslim hasn't stopped Saudi Arabia from working with Israel to contain the threat from Iran.
