    Trump and the status of women

    Now that Trump has won... will that mean that all women will be forced back into the home, barefoot and pregnant with no food in the cupboards?


    I think the real sense of gain is to those states who usually are overshadowed by the Democrat majority states -- and may normally have felt sidelined in the election process.

    Trump is not sexist. Trump has a long history of giving high-ranking jobs to women, and giving women equal pay to men.

    Especially if they're attractive.

        Why would that happen? Or are you not aware that Trump is a social progressive who has treated his female and minority employees far better than Hillary ever did?

            To clarify the original post, I was being sarcastic. People didn't vote for him with expectation for him to treat women badly nor does he have the interest or power to lose equal rights.

              I would think Trumps interests in women would qualify him for presisdent just as it did for JFK and Bill Clinton.

                        I suppose it's worth pointing out that Kellyanne Conway, appointed by Trump to be his campaign manager, is the first woman in US history to manage a winning GOP presidential run.

                          Yeah, some of the leaked emails show internal worry in the Hillary camp over the fact that Hillary doesn't have the wage parity she preaches.
