Whether it was politically motivated, well I watched it. I don't think it was. I think it was racially motivated. And they were high on drugs too. And laughing about what they were doing. Evil and Stupidity mixed.

We'd likely be hearing all about how this is just further proof of how racist and violent the right is, and every single media outlet and liberal talking head would be hounding Trump (and just about every other Republican politician) to comment on this incident, and if their response took just a little too long and/or was not quite as forceful as they'd like, it'd be taken as proof that they must approve.

I watched the video. sure they hate trump, but that was not the reason they were hurting this guy. They were doing it because they were drugged up bullies who hated white people. While mocking and torturing this poor white kid, they yelled out they hated trump along with a lot of other stuff, it was "on the list" but not a motivation for their acts. I think hatred of whites was the motivation, bolstered by the stupidity of being high on drugs/alcohol. These were just punks having "a good time" scaring and hurting a white kid just because they could.
