    BLM Professor Fired

    A professor was fired for supporting a BLM Memorial Day Event where only Blacks were permitted to attend.

    I don't think the professor should have been fired.
    If black people want to have their own parties I think that should be permitted.

    I write that with the full knowledge that the same courtesy will never be extended to whites but such is the cost of principle.
    I will enjoy watching the SJWs get burned by their own fire.

    Actually YOU put Trump in the White House. He wouldn't have gotten 1% of the vote if it wasn't for the widespread spiritual and cultural devastation caused by progressive policies.     I don't think she was fired for the event being black-only, but because she is racist.

      The University of Delaware has chosen not to extend the employment of Katherine Dettwyler, the professor who made headlines last week after she said that Otto Warmbier “got exactly what he deserved.”

      Warmbier died last week just days after returning to the United States from North Korea. He had been imprisoned by the tyrannical country for a year and a half after the country arrested him for attempting to steal a propaganda sign. He was just 22 years old.

      “The University of Delaware has announced that Katherine Dettwyler, who last taught in the spring as an adjunct faculty member, will not be rehired to teach at the University in the future,” the school said in a statement.

        I must admit I don't really get all this.

        I'm on two mostly American forums (the other being a secular & more left leaning one) and both have mentioned BLM and various protests, riots etc etc.

        I haven't seen much of this reported in the U.K., though I don't doubt there are various fringe groups out there being a general nuisance.

        Is this something which is widely reported, or do I merely see it on the forums coz they're generally more politically minded so they get flagged more often?

          The news in the USA reports only on the worst of the worst.
          They hype ten people into thousands.

            Fair play- not gloating about the US vs the UK- generally interested as to why I only ever hear about this sort of stuff in forums, and not in any of the various news & opinion sources (left & right) that I read.

            Reading on here and the other forum, it seems like a huge thing that rears its ugly head on a weekly basis, but I'm basically hearing silence everywhere else.

              In this case it is you won't hear if from the left because it does not fit their false narrative that only white males can be bigoted and that all white males are bigoted by nature.

                I think the BLM has died down quite a bit.
                It will be forgotten in a few months.
