  • My brother read an apologetics book.

He didn't understand the idea of objective moral standards. He called the book hotel garbage. The book was Andy Bannister's The Atheist who didnt exist. I must say this was rather sad. Still I don't think he read all of it.
I Pray that one day their minds and hearts will be opened.

Hang in there, little brother. God may very well be working in your family through your faithfulness to Him.

The good news is that obviously his interest is piqued and that is a significant step.

ing that he continues on that journey.

I'm always still in trouble again

God kept dropping people in my lives that made impressions on me long before I took religion seriously, and once I did, all the pieced clicked into place. All those people and how they impressed me or affected me, all popped into place and it all made sense. So even if you don't think you are doing any good, or he didn't take the book seriously, you never know what is going to happen. One day he might recall something you said, something he read, and it might all click.

If I have learned anything from the screswtape letters it is that reason is a powerful tool. God being perfect and all loving is able to readon not just with the mind, but the more illogical yet wonderful heart. In real arguement or research one comes to find truth. In looking for truth and reason you take yourself from raw sense experience. You focus on what is real instead of Screwtapes " real life".

I hope my brother may be saved. I hope lots of people will be. As many as possible.
