  • Ezekiel 37

    This passage is amazing.
God tells Ezekiel to prophecy to a bunch of dusty dry old bones. He tells Ezekiel to tell the bones to come to life and the Lord gives them life. He then tells Ezekiel to tell the world of a new everlasting covenant that will save people from their sinful backsliding. A king from David's line ruling forever.

This is cleary referring to Christ.

We are like the bones. Dead in sin. Like the obstinate toy soldiers in Lewis's works we can be made flesh. We resist being made to a new life for Bios is by nature sinful, but we are to be made perfect in christ. In a way every day the Holy spirit works in us brining dry bones to life.
