Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
Today’s Glory Seed is for YOU…

“For ages and ages this message was kept secret from everyone, but now it has been explained to God's people. God did this because he wanted you Gentiles to understand his wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, and he is your hope of sharing in God's glory.” (Colossians 1:26-27 CEV)

Although miracles are not usually associated with Easter with exception of the miracle of the resurrection Easter is however very much alive with miracles. However, the miracles of Easter are normally referred to as mysteries. For example, “God did this because he wanted you Gentiles to understand his wonderful and glorious miracle. And the miracle is – JESUS LIVES IN YOU! And that means in ………………………. (Please sign on the dotted line!)

In chapter 11 of Luke’s gospel Jesus is accused of casting out demons by the power of Satan. In response Jesus, referring to using Satan’s power would mean Satan’s “house” would be divided against itself and went on to say a house divided against itself will fall. Patrick Borchers of Creighton University's School of Law in today’s Praying Lent writes, “But the uncomfortable truth is that Lent reminds us that we are all houses divided against ourselves. We have one foot in material concerns and hopefully at least one foot in the spiritual world. There’s nothing wrong in and of itself in having some material concerns. The difficulty, however, is that it’s all too easy to let those concerns push matters of the soul into a corner that’s reserved for God.

Paul tells us how by thinking positive thoughts and constantly telling ourselves JESUS LIVES IN ME we can push material concerns into the background where they belong and no longer divide our hearts. “Don't worry about anything, but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel. Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don't ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.” (Philippians 4:6-8 CEV, emphasis mine)

We may not always be able to pray our burdens away but we can pray the Holy Spirit will help us crush them as we walk in GOD’s PEACE over the top of them!

    Believe! Anticipate! Experience! Be transformed!
    Grace and PEACE, Amen!
    Gary

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 LEB)
