  • Windows God Mode

    Apparently this has been around for a while now, but works best with window 7 and 10

    It creates a folder that contains all sorts of customizable settings, control panel shortcuts etc.

    To enter "GodMode," one need only create a new folder and then rename the folder to the following:

    GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

    The folder will change to a control panel icon and it will contain all of your settings in one place. Kinda neat.

    Interesting; I just tried it in Windows 7 64-bit in the Windows\System32 folder and it worked. I'll have to see what all is there...

    Though admittedly, I'm not fond of the folder name...

      You can create the folder anywhere. I did it on my desktop.

        I kind of figured I could put the folder anywhere; my choice of location just seemed logical at the time.

        Well, as nice as it is to have all those settings in one handy location, I'm not seeing anything there that can't be easily accessed through other options. It is interesting to see, though.

            Do I need? Or want?

              You don't need it, but if you want it it's super easy to set up and won't hurt your compy. So really, it's optional and up to you.

                I don't know what it does. What good will it do me?

                  It looks like it's basically nothing more than all the Windows Control Panel options expanded out to include all their 281 sub-options in a giant list, simply put. (At least it's 281 on mine; might be more or less on yours.)

                  I made a screenshot so you can see better what it is.

                      I made the file folder. Now where can I put my files?

                      Sorry. I was on my way to posting a new thread and stopped by here.
