Deeper Waters: You Can Help!
As it stands, Deeper Waters is not technically a ministry in its own right. However, it is a sub-ministry right now. As others outside of TWeb will see come October 1st when the new Tektonics budget is put up, we are now a sub-ministry of Tektonics.org.
What does this mean for you? It means that if you want to support us, that this can be done through a tax-deductible donation to Tektonics for us. It must be explicitly stated somewhere in the donation that this is for Deeper Waters.
If you do not wish to go that route, then you can simply go to http://deeperwaters.wordpress.com where you can use PayPal to make a donation that will go directly to us.
Either way, we would definitely appreciate your support in this hard time for us. If you cannot support us financially, please do so prayerfully.
Thank you for supporting the ministry of Deeper Waters.
Re: Deeper Waters: You Can Help!
Just to add to this:
On Oct 1 I'll be posting the 2011 Ministry Manifesto, which is when this will be "officially" announced.

In a check, this means something in the "memo" section; by PayPal, you'd have to add a note. Or in either case send me an email with instructions.
When I post the manifesto, this is what will be said about the subject, under a note about an "open line item":
Quote:
What’s this for? It’s something unique. One of Tekton’s guest writers, Nick Peters, currently a seminary student, is working on his own fledgling ministry, and he’ll get started by working through Tekton. We’re leaving an open line item in our budget for anyone who wants to contribute to his efforts. Right now any support will go towards any joint projects he’ll work with us on (for example, he’ll contribute to the book on doctrine).
We'll play this by ear as we go along for now. After all a newly married man has his priorities. But when I post a thread for the 2001 Manifesto, we'll discuss more specifics.
