Of course I'm a hypocrite. What else would you expect me to be?

Don't over-spiritualize the word. You know what we mean.

Don't under-spiritualize it. Forum posts aren't quite as spontaneous as face-to-face conversation, but neither are they nearly as premeditated or edited as an essay, blog post, or book.

Owning up to being a hypocrite doesn't get you off the hook for acting like a hypocrite, especially not one as smugly self-righteous as you.

Prescription: get over it, and get off your high horse
Re: An Open Challenge to Norman Geisler
I love how SarahB just completely ignored everything Raphael said.

That's not a particularly insightful expansion on what MM said- in fact, it's hardly more than a restatement. You're still just calling me diseased- you aren't telling me what health looks like.

That was all that needed to be said.

If you can't tell what it looks like by now, then you obviously aren't trying very hard, usually when you have to explain the obvious to someone it's because they don't care to look for themselves or just don't care period. Why bother pointing something out to someone who isn't going to look anyway?
Re: An Open Challenge to Norman Geisler
Sarah has completely ignored everything I said too. She still hasn't responded to what I said earlier about how applying biblical principles doesn't require peer review, and then went on again asking JPH:
Quote:
Ask your good peer friend Lee Strobel to give you his seal of approval.
Either Sarah has me on ignore (for no good reason whatsoever) or she has the fact that she has no case to prove her point on ignore.
Re: An Open Challenge to Norman Geisler
Good grief. Lee Strobel couldn't even give peer review approval.

Which is why I haven't responded to her further, as she plainly is not interested actually addressing what I wrote.

I guess listing Tekton as a resource in multiple books of his -- including one where he calls Tekton a "feisty website" -- isn't enough for a hateful little troll like the little girl who has severe psychological problems.
But anyway, he sent me his seal of approval. Here it is:

Don't engage in the very behavior you condemn and then try to justify it by saying, "Whoops, looks like temptation got the better of me again. Guess I'm just a sinner and a hypocrite like the Bible says. LOL!" Frankly, that makes you look like an unrepentant jackass. If you can't exercise self-control then avoid situations where you're tempted to engage in that behavior. For instance, you might consider taking a break from TheologyWeb.
Now I imagine you're thinking, "Aha! Got you! If it's wrong for me to use insults then why isn't it wrong for you, huh?" But that, of course, entirely misses the point. Insults in and of themselves are clearly not wrong as proven by Jesus' use of them in public debate, so really, I could care less whether you engage in challenge/riposte or not. The problem is that you condemn it out of one side of your mouth while dishing out the insults with the other side.
More simply, this debate has nothing to do with insults and everything to do with your blatant and self-righteous hypocrisy.
