I guess you're right. It's in the baguette.

Sorry, puns are my bread and butter.
  3. Re: T.D. Jakes - Oneness Pentecostal - embraces the Trinity

Oh, yeast of little faith. I can barley believe you're jumping to conclusions over a bread remark. Wheat shouldn't be so hasty in our conclusions.

    Re: Gosnell Found Guilty!

    Good article.

But like I said above, I'm not against capital punishment; but I think the instances when we should use it are far more rare than a lot of people want to make it.

    Re: Left Behind--Rebooted?

I did too, and even when I believed in the eschatology it was predicated upon, I knew the writing and characterization sucked. Which is amazing. How can you make the Rapture and Tribulation boring?...

    Re: The ethics of circumcision

Often they smuggle in an unwarranted implication or even outright say that it's a superstitious custom of "bronze age sheepherders". For some people, it's chronological snobbery.

    Re: The ethics of circumcision

I wouldn't call it mutilation. I see it as no worse, biologically speaking, than poking holes in your earlobes to put in shiny rocks. And to call it barbaric is stretching the truth a bit.

  38. Re: The plan to ban genuine Christianity in the U.S. Army

No, nothing at hand, but I've read it somewhere. It may not have been Bonhoeffer specifically, but I'd be surprised if my psychotic brain made it up whole-cloth.
  39. Re: The plan to ban genuine Christianity in the U.S. Army

PS: By "admitted", I mean that he came to regret the decision....not that I personally think that decision was wrong.
  40. Re: The plan to ban genuine Christianity in the U.S. Army

To be fair, I've heard that Bonhoeffer eventually came full circle and admitted that what he did was wrong. If it wasn't him, it was one of the Christian conspirators.
