Well, I like salmon, and MelMak likes salmon, but Mr. mossy does not like salmon.

I have tried various white fish, but my fish cooking skills are severely lacking, and nobody much likes those unless they are encased in batter and deep fried.

Which sort of defeats the purpose.

      Got any good tips?

      Does he like smoked salmon?

I am almost afraid to ask that. I can not conceive of anyone not liking smoked salmon - especially Copper River Red.

He likes smoked salmon, but only in small quantities. You know, a few crackers with some ss on top.

      He's a Yankee. What can I say?

I think Trout answered my question very well.

I like to marinate salmon in Yosida's Gormet Sauce and grill it. Yummy, but it sounds like you need only make enough for one. Sad.

Yes, very sad, I know. But my son-in-law likes salmon, so I have a little support. In fact, he regularly makes me grilled maple-glazed salmon for birthdays and stuff.

      :sighs:

Do you know where I might purchase some of this gourmet sauce? I haven't heard of it, and fear that Canadia is behind the times with this sort of thing.

I like threads devoted to fish and marriage. There are some deep, deep truths to be discovered here.
